Creating spaces where Portland comes together

Explore her policies

Cannabis Lounges

Portland will be the destination to recreationally consume marijuana. A city that will set the standard for lounges where you can buy and consume weed on-site.

Community Rooms in Apartment Buildings

In-building rooms dedicated to fostering community without raising rent. These rooms will be free and available to all residents.

Tiny Home Communities

Houselessness is not a crime. Our houseless neighbors deserve dignity including a safe place to sleep and a centralized plumbing system.

know RWB

Rebekah Wyse Barton was born in Portland, Oregon, and has lived in every corner of the state which gives her a deep understanding of the people and places that make Oregon unique. She returned to Portland in 2018 and has been proud to call it home ever since.

Outside of her community work, Rebekah enjoys singing and songwriting, reading nonfiction books, and rooting for her favorite soccer team the Portland Thorns. She also cherishes time spent with her husband and their beloved cat.

Her campaign is rooted in creating third spaces. These are places where people can connect and belong. From safe cannabis lounges to community rooms in apartment buildings and tiny home villages with shared amenities, Rebekah’s vision is to build a Portland where everyone has space, dignity, and opportunity.
